Used for driving frame nails into frames without the use of a hammer. Used by placing a frame nail inside of the tube and driven into the wood with a firm punch. Reduces the chances of hammering a nail through the sheet of foundation, bending nails, damaging the frame by hammering too hard, possible minor injuries such as hammering of fingers and reduces noise compared to the loud banging of hammer.
